IS LASERTAG SAFE?

Yes, we provide the highest quality equipment that uses a safe and invisible infrared technology and an LED illumination to indicate shots fired, neither of which can damage the eyes.

DO YOU ONLY CATER TO CHILDREN?

No! Laser tag is fun at nearly any age. Our services are great for birthday parties, reunions, graduations, fundraisers, church events, and corporate outings.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE?

The minimum age for players is 8 years old. It is difficult for young children to understand mission objectives which results in lost time for other players. Alpha-Barred Battlefield allows younger players at the Party Host's discretion.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After booking an appointment, Alpha-Barred Battlefield will contact you via phone, text, or email to confirm event details. We will arrive 30 minutes to an hour early on the day of the event. You will need to let the Gamemaster know where the games will take place. During this time, the Gamemaster will ensure waivers have been completed for each player and brief players on the rules, game objectives, and equipment usage. This briefing is required for all participants and is set to happen before booking time. Please ensure players are available and have completed the waiver prior to your scheduled event so that there are no delays in start time. The initial game will begin at the time of booking. Games will vary in length and scenario, which will be determined by the Gamemaster. Clean-up will take place immediately after the allotted time slot has been completed.
Games will start and end at the booking time. Any delays caused by the party hosts or participants will take time away from the event.

BRIEFING

Prior to the event, the Gamemaster will set up the arena and brief players on game rules, mission objectives, and equipment usage. This briefing is required. We suggest participants be available for the briefing 10-15 minutes prior to booking time. Our services begin at the time specified in the booking. Any start delays not caused by Alpha-Barred Battlefield employees will take away from gameplay.

WAIVER INFORMATION

All participants must complete a waiver prior to participating. Waivers must be completed by an adult or guardian for each participant under 18 years of age. Waivers may be completed online at your convenience; otherwise, they can be completed during the event.

 

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

All participants must wear closed heel and toe shoes, such as tennis shoes or lightweight boots. Players should dress in comfortable attire that will protect them from cuts/scrapes. Our events are normally conducted outside, please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and suitable for dirty conditions. We suggest dressing in camouflage or black clothing to reinforce the military experience.

IS MY LOCATION ACCEPTABLE?

We recommend holding the event in a field, yard, or wooded area at least 50' x 50' and free from foliage or debris that may cause accidents. For player and animal safety, please ensure pets are unable to access the arena. If you are uncomfortable or unable to host your event at your residence, we may be able to provide a list of suitable locations.

 

TRAVEL FEES

Our primary service area is a 30-mile radius from Parnell, Kentucky 42633. Travel fees are applicable outside of this area. Contact us for quotes.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

You will receive an invoice with applicable charges, including fees for travel or additional services, via email or text. You must pay the full amount on or before the due date specified on the invoice. We do not accept cash. Online credit/debit card payments only. Contact us for an estimate.

WHAT IF THERE IS INCLEMENT WEATHER?

Taggers and headbands can withstand slight rain without damage. If you are unsure about the weather, we suggest you have an alternative indoor location available. We may be able to provide you with a list of indoor venues if needed. In severe weather, Alpha-Barred Battlefield has the right to cancel the event with a full refund. If you would like to reschedule or cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, please do so 24-hours prior to your booking to receive a full refund.

REFUND

If cancellation is confirmed with Alpha-Barred Battlefield 24-hours prior to the event, you will receive a full refund. In the event of severe weather, you have the option to reschedule your booking. If Alpha-Barred Battlefield cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

When cancellations are requested within 24-hours of the event, full refunds are at the discretion of Alpha-Barred Battlefield.

CAN THERE BE MORE THAN 10 PLAYERS?

Yes! There is a maximum of 10 players per game, however, players may alternate between games. If you have more than 10 players, consider creating teams for equal gameplay time. All players must have completed the required waiver. Waivers can be completed online prior to or during the event.

HOW LONG DO THE GAMES LAST?

Depending on the scenario and intensity of gameplay, games may last anywhere between 5-20 minutes. Games will continue back-to-back until the allotted time is complete.

CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL TIME?

Yes. Additional time may be requested prior to the event.

SMOKE GRENADE INFORMATION

The Guest of Honor has the privilege of initiating the first game by throwing a colored smoke grenade into the arena. The Guest of Honor must be 16 years or older to use the smoke grenade. Smoke grenades cannot be used indoors. This service is optional.

POP-UP EVENT DETAILS

Pop-up players will receive 15-minutes of back-to-back gameplay during each walk-on session. Pop-up players must be 8 or older to play. Participants are required to complete a waiver prior to their session. A minimum of 4 players must be available for games to take place. Payments will be accepted at the time services are rendered. Prices may vary.

 

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH ALPHA-BARRED BATTLEFIELD?

We are always looking for suggestions to improve our services. If you are unsatisfied, please let us know. We will do our best to make it right.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We do not have a permanent location but are proud to serve South Central Kentucky.

We are, however, a mobile service; which means that we come to you! Our main service area contains Wayne, Pulaski, and Clinton County, Kentucky.

Events can be held outdoors as well as indoors. If you are unable to hold your event at home, we may be able to provide a list of suitable locations. Third-party locations may incur additional costs.
